super useful for under hood work and around the house too. the magnet ends swivel so you can aim it pretty much anywhere, stuck it under the hood of my wifes car and lit up the whole engine. its plastic but has survived a few drops in my shop so far. battery seems to last forever although i haven't actually timed it. really like this light!
